At Nelson Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics, we strive to create a comforting and relaxing office environment, while efficiently managing your children dental needs, and the orthodontic needs of the entire family, including mom and dad.
As a trained Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Casey Nelson is committed to making your child’s experiences at our office pleasant, which in turn generally helps alleviate parents’ anxiety. Our Orthodontist, Dr. Catie Miller uses current techniques to make having braces, Invisalign, and other orthodontic appliances as comfortable as possible. Having these two specialties in one office ensures that growth and development is monitored from an early age to determine if and when orthodontic treatment is indicated.
Easy Transition to Braces if Needed
Your family will become familiar with both doctors at our office, which will make for an easy and comforting transition to braces, if treatment is needed. Some children can benefit from orthodontic treatment earlier than others. Dr. Miller is here to monitor growth patterns and identify appropriate timing for jaw and tooth alignment, which will ensure that a patient’s treatment will be as efficient as possible. Direct communication between the doctors allows us to better serve our patients by providing simultaneous treatments, and minimizing the number of appointments needed.
Our state of the art facility was designed by Drs. Nelson and Miller to engage patients’ imaginations, while still providing a fun and soothing environment for both patients and parents.
•It is a place that everyone can feel confident and well informed of their treatment options…
•A place where the doctors are approachable and take the time to educate patients…
•A place where flexible financial arrangements can be made so that finances do not hinder anyone’s access to quality care in a technologically advanced, brand new private specialty practice.
We invite you to schedule an appointment and experience our office for yourself!
Why Choose Dental Specialists?
All dentists spend four years after college in dental school. Dental specialists continue their education after their dental school training to focus specifically on the specialty they are pursuing.
Dr. Nelson spent two years at an advanced training residency, during which time he treated only children and special needs patients. During this time, he became familiar with behavior modification techniques that will assure that your child’s experience at Nelson Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics is as pleasant as possible. The fact that Dr. Nelson only treats children means that he is always finding new and efficient ways to put you and your child at ease.
Dr. Miller spent two and a half years completing her advanced training residency, during which time she only practiced Orthodontics. Having spent this time learning the biology and mechanics of tooth movement allows Dr. Miller to provide her patients with the best care possible. Each patient has different needs and goals, and Dr. Miller is committed to customizing treatment plans so they are specific for each patient.
